not satisfied with the language file - 2006/12/31 13:05 I noticed that this SEF Service Map component had gain big popularity. So I decided to make a Chinese translation for it and offer the Chinese version of this component to members on my website http://www.joomlagate.com .

But finally I realised that the language file did not caintain all those entries at backend. Half of them were still English when another half turned into Chinese.

I am testing with the latest version: 1.0.3.

Please modify the language file to include every sentence at backend and frontend.

Thanks.

Re:not satisfied with the language file - 2007/03/03 18:44 The sefsmconfig.english.xml file also should be translated. It contains the strings for the settings.

Odp:Re:not satisfied with the language file - 2007/03/04 01:28 Ok, I found that file and translated, renamed, uploaded. Now the backend of this component shows Chinese face.

Thanks for your reminding.

Re:Odp:Re:not satisfied with the language file - 2007/03/04 09:35 You're welcome

I have another language related good news for you The interface of the integrators/mambots is also multilingual. You should rename the com_[integrator]_bot.xml file to com_[integrator]_bot.[yourlanguage] where [integrator] is the name of the mambot (e.g. docman) and [yourlanguage] is the English name of the translation (e.g. hungarian). Whenm you open the zip file in an archiver, you should understand the naming.

BTW, congrats, Radek, on the multilingual interface of the mambots. The majority of the developers forgot that plugins and modules also should be localizable.

Odp:Re:Odp:Re:not satisfied with the language file - 2007/03/05 00:23 Wonderful design !

I completely understand your instruction.

To thank the author for such a clever coding, I will offer my translation in Chinese language for all the com_ and bot of SEF Service Map. This shall be done after my graduation in May.

At least, I have finished the translation for the component. You will see it for downloading in several days at my website: http://www.joomlagate.com.
