Google saying not in supported format - 2007/06/21 12:25 I am using SEF Service Map, and have recently got the following message from Google:
Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure that it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit... Before it was working fine, the only thing that happened in between is that I switched on SEF Urls.. Could you check the format and see if there is something wrong: http://skiguru.net/index2.php?option=com_sefservicemap&task=googlemap

I to have the same problem ever since I upgraded to sef service map 1.4 I can't make a sitemap.xml.

What happens now is the it makes the map But, when I save it using the broweser (ie6) it saves as ZERO BYTES. So I am using copy and paste. I have made 3 maps and google rejects them all.

Re:Google saying not in supported format - 2007/06/23 21:30 I fixed this now, the orginal service map had the address with a http://www.skiguru.net, when I switched on SEF, the URL became http://skiguru.net, so just loaded a new site map to google without the www...
