duplicate contents caused by the compoenent - 2006/09/30 04:25 hello all !
This is a great component thanks for the work !
The only problem i have, is related with the urls generated for my shop items in my sitemap :
for exemple :
OT-B688 Bluetooth
in the site map i can get to the description of this item with the following address :

http://www.china-partners.net/shop//import-export-bluetooth-ot-b688_50.html

However the actual url for this item is :

http://www.china-partners.net/shop/bluetooth_16/import-export-bluetooth-ot-b688_50.html

I am having 2 different URLS for the same content. I would like to know how to avoid that please.

Maybe all is working fine Try it, please: On SEF Service Map unpublish shop on top menu and publish a shop on left menu. I think, a problem is with different Itemid's Regards, Radek.

I have three menus :
Main menu (the top navigation bar)

The top menu (appears at the bottom

..i think because of the template structure)

and other menu..

I tried to unpublish the shop in the main menu ("catlogue en ligne") and leave it in the bottom. Result : the map displays my shop contents but the URL problem is still the same.

When i unpublish the shop link of the bottom of my page, the site map does not generate anything for my shop contents...

I was thinking..but not sure, to delete all the urls in my open sef and do everything again and see what happens. I really do not if is gonna work...

for the same product in virtuemart i got two urls...

The old english version ("wholesaler") in the menu can be reahed on

in the map generated by your component the url is different :
http://www.china-partners.net/eng/&Itemid=17

I'm developing new version of SEF SM now. I change this on next release.
SEF SM now interpret http://www.china-partners.net/eng/ as internal, not external link.
Now, the best method is unpublish this link on site map. Sorry
