XML and TXT help - 2008/06/26 06:18 What I have installed and am using:

Joomla 1.0.15
SEF Service Map 1.0.4
OpenSEF 2.0.0-RC5_SP2 (really wish this was still being supported)

I can't seem to figure out how to submit a good url to google sitemap webmaster tools. I have sitemap on site with link: http://www.yardbits.com/sitemap/ and there is an XML and TXT icon at bottom. The problem is that google does NOT accept this link for a good sitemap>>> http://www.yardbits.com/index2.php?option=com_sefservicemap&task=xmlmap&no_html=1 .

(Note: I do have robot.txt that disallows /index2.php, /components.)

I tried to make url SEF by using OPENsef, but it won't change url.

I also tried to hack another users sitemap url and changed the domain name: http://www.yardbits.com/index.php?option=com_joomap&view=google but that doesn't work either.

Where is the sitemap generator or is it just the icon link at bottom of site map?

(I did also change the open_sef php code as instructed on SEf Service map installtion) http://www.yardbits.com

I also have not been able to find the com_content_bot

I noticed this has been posted for a while with no comment.
