Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/11/17 21:19 Hi there,
I've downloaded your product and am very impressed. I was wondering though if there are any plans to release an SMF (Simple Machines Forum) mambot seeing as that is the forum most widely used by people who have Joomla?

If that was done it would make a good product into an excellent one!

Regards,

Chris

And Thank You.
Yes, SMF Integrator is in plans, but I don't know a implementation date now.

If integrator will be ready, I send replay here.

Best regards,
Radek.

Re:Odp:Re:Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/12/05 14:05 Hello

I have a small problem using this mambot for SMF, all my categories are duplicated, see here: http://www.mallromania.ro/index.php?option=com_sefservicemap&Itemid=158

I have latest SMF installed

Also, there is any option to show only categories and not products from Virtuemart? I have almost 2000 products in my store and i receive

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/mallroma/public_html/administrator/components/com_joomfish/mldatabase.class.php on line 293

P.S: can you do mambots for linkdirectory 1.1 and Sobi 1/2 also?

Thank you

But 2000 products - it's a large shop.
2.SMF
working for solution, give me 1 day, please.

Best regards, Radek.
Ps. Sobi integrator in plans.

Re:Odp:Re:Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/12/05 15:39 Hi Radek

Thanks for your response

I'm not sure if Virtuemart integrator take only categories or maybe i am wrong: i set it to display categories only then set number of sublevels to 1 and still i receive error above. I have 2 main categories and 19 subcategories at level 2...do i have to make any other changes?

Re:Odp:Re:Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/12/05 16:15 Welcome.
If You set categories only, You don't must set sublevels. Integrator return automaticaly categories list only and don't query database for products list.
But, be sure, if You set categories only - remember, You can set it global(in SEF SM Configuration), or local (in SEF SM Structure).

And the second query:
Are You downloaded a new version of integrator? Was a bug in link, fixed.

Re:Odp:Re:Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/12/05 16:24 I set this option from Virtuemart integrator, version 1.0.4 (version you sugest me to download, i check in mambots and it's 1.0.4). I didn't see such option in SEF SM Configuration

Re:Odp:Re:Great product, how about an SMF mambot? - 2006/12/06 16:46 This is, without a doubt, the best Sitemap tool I have tested. Using your application made it very easy to decide which tool I want to use to populate a SiteMap.

I will use this regardless if you do the following or not because its just plain awesome.

I currently use SMF 1.1 Final (latest SMF offered from simplemachines.org) and I use there bridge for everything from user authentication for me website as well as PM messages.

Do you believe you will create a bot for SMF 1.1?

Also I noticed that you don't have a bot for Gallery2. I am actually suprised at this seeing how they are so popular for image galleries. In fact I looked at replacing my image gallery to one that you have bots for but don't like them as much. Any reason why no bot for Gallery2? More curious then anything.

Again... thank you for creating this. Awesome!
